“I don't normally write reviews about places I stay at, but I just felt I had to say something. The gentleman behind the counter went up and beyond to help me out for check-in and the room was super clean. If I'm ever back in this town, I'll definitely book a room here again.”

“Easily one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Rooms not very clean, no hair dryer. Bath towels (2 for solo traveler) were about the size of a large hand towel. AC unit would make ticking sound every time it cycled off so I ended up running the fan all night. Got a rude wake up call at 7:30am when fire alarm went off to apparently their cooking in kitchen. Not sure what was cooking because “continental breakfast” consisted of bagels, bread, stale cereal (with no bowls available), yogurt and……

“TV control didn't work. Only shear window covering. Air conditioning unit needed cleaning (odor). Staff friendly but never at desk.”

“This is a true gem. Old but updated cabin so you get the best of both worlds. The kids had a blast and this was awesome to have family members out for a day without houses and people right next to you. Storm came through...a bog was floating towards the island. The kids thought that was pretty cool. We will definately be back!”

“We had some challenges. Our first day we had no hot water at all. The whole stay, the toilet would not flush. The overuse of room freshener caused me discomfort. Overall I would not stay here again.”

“We did a girls craft weekend at this cabin and had a blast. It was very whimsical and relaxing. We also enjoyed using the hot tub ammenity onsite. I would definitely recommend a stay here. So fun!”

“Bob and Karen had everything you could need for your stay. They had pans, paper towels to washrags and extra blankets. This place felt so warm to us; basically a home away from home. The little trail they have was pretty sweet on their property. It was nice to have serenity and being away from city life. There’s plenty to do for a weekend stay in the small town but even if you don’t want to leave the playhouse, no worries… there’s games, a fire pit (both gas and regular pit), tv and much more.……
